VOLKER BARBER
German born Volker Albert Barber had lessons at Peter Cornelius Conservatory Mainz, Berklee correspondence course and extensions at UCLA. Age 16 he performed in clubs, also writing, performing original songs. He won the German Academy Award "ECHO" for best newcomer, joined the rock band Tokyo. As synth specialist he concepted sound designed & performed international tours for PPG, AKAI, DYNACORD synths. In the studio he performed sessions with artists like Milli Vanilli, Rob & Fab, Boney M, Meatloaf, etc. As head of production at WESTSIDE (EMI) he landed numerous chart entries with a massive sales chart hit in Asia and Brazil. He produced songs for famous sports teams and CDs for stars like SIEGFRIED & ROY, MICHAEL SCHUMACHER, MAGDALENA BRZESKA and MARCUS BEYER.
